Zac Efron is also a strong advocate for the adoption of vulnerable and abandoned dogs. In 2018, the American actor, adopted a dog that was about to be euthanized, the actor initially took her in temporarily, and then decided to adopt her permanently. Zac Efron decided to call her Maca, and when he presented her on Instagram the first time, the actor posted a message in favor of animal adoption using the hashtag #adoptdontshop (“adopt, do not buy”).
